Day 2 – Castelluccio & Norcia
After breakfast departure with your full day local guide to Castelluccio di Norcia, a small village located on 1.452 m above sea level. In the afternoon visit to Norcia, surrounded by the Sybilline mountains. The ancient center of Norcia is almost flat, which is relatively unusual among the towns of Umbria, and is completely enclosed by a full circuit of walls that has survived intact from the 14th century.

Day 3 – Spoleto & Spello
Breakfast and departure with your full day local guide to Spoleto, a walled medieval hill town. Inhabited since prehistoric times, the lower parts of its wall are from the 6th century BC. The first Roman settlement “Spoletium” began in 241 BC and there are Roman remnants throughout the historic center. Above the town there is a medieval Rocca and spanning the deep gorge to one side of the Rocca, the most famous sight is Ponte delle Torri or Bridge of Towers.
After optional lunch proceed to Spello, the ancient Roman “Hispellum”, surrounded by well-preserved Roman walls and 3 gates. Visit to the church of Santa Maria Maggiore with its Baglioni Chapel which has a ceramic Deruta’s floor and Pinturicchio’s frescoes (considered his best production and his self-portrait).
